Report on Thought for the Day Programme

The M.Ed students of NSS Training College, Ottapalam, successfully organized a motivational and insightful "Thought for the Day" session on 23rd July 2025 at 9:30 AM in the General Hall of the college. The theme of the event was:

"You Are the Change You Wish to See – A Teacher’s Role"

The programme commenced with a soulful prayer rendered by Seetha Lakshmi V and team, creating a serene and focused atmosphere. This was followed by Acharyavandanam presented by Fathima Nujoom, as a mark of reverence towards the gurus and the teaching profession.



The session was efficiently compered by Anagha P A, who ensured the smooth flow of the event. A thoughtful and impactful message relevant to the topic was presented by Renjitha S and Anila P, encouraging aspiring educators to embrace their roles as catalysts of change in society.

The programme conveyed a strong message that transformation in the educational sphere begins with self-awareness, responsibility, and active participation by teachers.

Thought for the day 26/03/25


On 26/03/2025,the Social Science first year students conducted an engaging assembly at the NSS B. Ed Training College. The  program began with a prayer, followed by the pledge by Nayana and news reading session conducted by Neethu M. The thought of the day, was presented by Midhu krishna.The students were honored for their different achievements.General instructions were given by rahul.The assembly ended with national anthem.

Thought for the day 25/03/25


Thought for the day programme was conducted in the topic "importance of moral values ". It wasdone by 2nd year physical science students.The content was presented by Akshay,Aparna and Anu. Also talked about the education implications of the same topic.

Thought for the day was in connection with world water day, done by Ntural science optional in association with Blue army club.The content was presented by Nimisha, sabira and Priyanka. We have shown a video regarding the theme of world water day 2025.The importance of water conservation, History of world water day were also discussed in the session.

On 05/03/2025,the Social Science second year students conducted an engaging assembly at the B. Ed Training College. The program began with a prayer, followed by the pledge by Ajmal A and news reading session conducted by Athulya V. The theme of the day, 'International Women's Day ' was thoughtfully addressed in a speech by Anusree R S. She shares the theme of International women's day 2025 and its history. She also shares the current scenario about gender inequality and violence against women in India. The assembly was well received, showcasing the students efforts and creativity.
